Large orders

For large orders on new accounts we may seek banker’s references and trading references before proceeding with your order and, furthermore, we may require payment in advance. Depending on the order size/value we may deem your business to be a commercial transaction and as such other, or modified terms will apply. We will discuss this with you at the time of order placement.

The table alongside lists the various ordering methods and the corresponding methods of paying for the books. For those methods shown in purple you must have established a trading account with us first. An account will only be granted after we have had a good trading experience with you over an extended period. You may apply for an account at any time but until we write confirming an account has been set up in your name you must choose one of the other methods for paying for your order.

If you send a cheque please be sure it’s in UK Pounds Sterling; that it’s crossed and made payable to Sounds Write and that you’ve signed and dated it correctly.

If you’re happy operating e-banking you can transfer funds electronically from your bank to ours. If you’re ordering from outside the UK you may be able to pay using the international banking facility known as CHAPS.

We do not recommend the sending of cash through the post.

Delayed or refused payments will start to attract penalties at 1% per order value per day overdue plus cost of sending fortnightly reminders (currently £2.50 each).

No new orders will be processed whilst a payment remains outstanding.
